Hello everyone!

I'm Anna and this is The Happy Houseplant! I've created this blog to share my love for indoor plants and write about plant topics. I'm by no means a plant expert, but am a true plant enthusiast who wishes to share their thoughts, observations and excitement with other plant lovers - new or old! How'd I develop my passion for plants, you ask?

Well, it all started quite recently actually; I used to poke fun at my sister for being a "crazy plant lady", but then I found myself admiring the gorgeous foliage of her Devils Ivy Epipremnum aureum. I went on a mission to find one for myself and haven't looked back since! In just a few months, I've visited many South Australian plant nurseries countless times and went from having zero houseplants to windowsills full!

The responsibility of keeping plants alive may seem daunting at first, but through exploring basic care tips, the easiest plants, interior plant design and plant benefits on this journey together, we will (hopefully!) ease all fears and flourish our very own happy houseplant jungles!
